Webinar: Sustainability - The Resident Perspective

In the property industry, much of the rhetoric and strategy around sustainability comes from the top down. We hear a lot about Government targets and proposed solutions for making buildings greener – but what about the residents who choose to live in these new homes?

Our Sustainability report in partnership with EE, and this webinar revealed which sustainable features residents really value and how those values vary by age, location and other factors.

Rapid expansion has given HomeViews the UK’s most detailed dataset on the sustainability features that residents value most. Almost 72% of reviewers indicated that sustainability features were important to them, and there were distinct differences in attitudes and preferences by age.

This webinar summarised these key findings and others drawn from over 12,000 verified resident reviews on HomeViews. This provides a deeper understanding of resident demand for specific sustainable building features, allowing developers and operators to specify and promote their properties more effectively.
